Job Description:
This senior leadership role is responsible for the overall management of site maintenance and engineering activities to ensure equipment, plant, and property are operating efficiently and effectively.
The Maintenance and Engineering Manager will be involved in day-to-day business operations, focusing on operational issues and requirements, managing projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring site manufacturing equipment performance meets or exceeds required Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Developing strategies for technician training and skills enhancement to drive productivity and efficiency
* Executing planned preventative maintenance programs and ensuring regulatory compliance
* Reviewing periodic maintenance systems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing continuous projects
* Ensuring maintenance work meets Health & Safety and Quality standards
* Driving Maintenance and Reliability initiatives focused on Predictive and Preventative Maintenance
* Owning planning systems, managing maintenance teams, and establishing maintenance procedures for production lines
* Supporting plant optimization across production, filling, and packing, utilities, and intake processes
* Establishing performance standards and optimizing performance across all processes
* Troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities to enhance plant performance and drive KPI improvement
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong technical background, excellent leadership and communication skills, and experience in maintenance and engineering management.
