This role is based in Dublin, with a hybrid working model between the office and project site.With the support or the wider team, your responsibilities will include:Onsite validation and commissioning of PLC based electrical control systems and instrumentationElectrical equipment onsite commissioningChecking and testing electrical and instrumentation MCC panels; checking electrical and instrumentation MCC panel wiring schematicsFault diagnostics and modification to existing electrical control and automation systems; Factory Acceptance Tests on control panels to ensure compliance with approved documentation; and Site Acceptance Tests and system sign off with client representative.Monitoring and optimisation of instrumentation, PLC's, and electrical control systems.Preparation of technical specifications and supervision of sub-contractors.The ideal profile is someone with:Minimum 5 years electrical experience in an industrial / process electrical commissioning role.Candidate must be a qualified Electrician with a L6 National Craft Certificate, (Electrical or Instrumentation).Strong Technical problem-solving skills; motivated, self-starter with excellent communications skillsPLC & HMI programming experience is desirableExperience within the Water / Wastewater industry is a distinct advantageIf you are considering what your next role could look like within Electrical Commissioning, and have ambitions to develop your career whilst delivering large utility projects in Ireland, please apply and get in touch with Mark Canning via the link provided for more information.
