Summary:
This temporary role provides administrative support during COPE Galways busiest fundraising period.
The successful candidate will help manage the high volume of communications, donations, and Christmas campaign activities, ensuring smooth coordination across the fundraising and finance teams.
Were looking for someone flexible, reliable, and collaborative - a team player whos willing to step in where needed to keep things running smoothly during this busy period.
Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor fundraising email inboxes; respond to or redirect queries as appropriate.
Prepare and distribute fundraising resources (collection buckets etc.).
Support donation processing and cash-handling activities in line with COPE Galways financial procedures.
Welcome donors dropping off contributions at Calbro House and ensure donations are properly logged and handed over to the appropriate team member.
Assist with Christmas Swim merchandise fulfilment and postage.
Provide general administrative and clerical support to the fundraising team as required.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
Experience & Core Competencies
Flexible and adaptable, with a strong team-focused attitude.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
High accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when handling money and data.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email systems.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly and professional manner with donors, fundraisers, and volunteers.
Key Terms and Conditions
Contract Period: Fixed Term Part Time Contract 24th November 23 December ****
Salary: €28,612 per annum pro rata
Method of Pay: Monthly
Hours: 25 per week
