Our client offers excellent structure and supervision in a busychildren's disability service located in Carlow.
The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy programs for children with a range of complex disabilities.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support tailored to each child's needs.
This is a full time, 35 hour week spread across Monday - Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement and CPD opportunties.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for children with disabilities.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address physical, developmental, and functional needs.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and overall physical function.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and doctors, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Educate and support families on physiotherapy techniques and strategies to continue therapy at home.
Qualifications: A BSc/MSc degree in Physiotherapy Current registration with CORU Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable.
Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
