Job Profile:
This role involves supporting solicitors in the commercial property team by providing administrative services.
* Save and store documents electronically using the firm's systems, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
* Format legal documents to meet the requirements of various clients and stakeholders.
* Filing, invoicing, and general administrative support to ensure smooth operations.
* Prepare and arrange registration of Land Registry or Registry of Deeds documents as per the client's instructions.
* Requisitions on Title to verify ownership details.
* Scheduling title documents to ensure timely completion of transactions.
* Preparing Contract for Sale to facilitate the transfer of property ownership.
* Preparing closing documentation to finalize property deals.
* Manage data rooms to maintain confidentiality and organization during transactions.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years' experience working as a legal secretary.
* Commercial property experience is essential for this role.
* Excellent attention to detail to avoid errors and maintain accuracy.
* Strong IT and systems capability to adapt to new software and technologies.
* Able to plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and deliver results.
* Strong people skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
