Project Director – Digital Projects (Europe)
Due to growing demand for our consultancy services, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Director to lead and oversee our digital projects for a specific client in Europe.
This role involves managing the end-to-end delivery of complex digital projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a collaborative environment for project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive digital project strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and client strategic objectives
Lead planning, execution, delivery of digital projects, including platform designs and business intelligence development
Manage cross-functional teams, providing guidance and ensuring effective collaboration among stakeholders
Act as client-side advisor and primary point of contact, providing regular updates, managing expectations and implementing best practice
Develop and oversee project budgets, timelines and resource management
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
Ensure all digital deliverables meet highest quality standards and are delivered on time
Evaluate project outcomes and processes, implementing improvements for future initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of experience delivering complex digital projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Bachelor's degree in STEM related subjects (Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.)
Experience in the construction industry with a solid understanding of procurement, design, construction, and handover
Hands-on experience in business intelligence, business analysis, digital strategy and change management
Proficient in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications
Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in an Agile environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Desirable Skills and Accreditations
Microsoft certifications (e.g. Azure Data Engineer Associate, Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer)
Previous or current local security clearances to work with defence organisations (e.g. Garda Vetting, Personal Security Clearance, VS-NFDS)
