This role is open to qualified professionals with a strong understanding of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process and Irish planning policy/legislation.
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessor to lead the EIA process for large-scale Renewable Energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience leading EIAR and AA/NIS preparation for complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement Environmental Impact Assessments for Renewable Energy projects, ensuring compliance with planning and environmental regulations.
* Collaborate with the Planning Team to inform business strategy and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in planning/environmental legislation, policies, and development plans.
* Contribute to company submissions and stakeholder engagement as required.
Requirements:
* Hons Degree (Lvl 8 FETAC) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
* Postgraduate qualification (Lvl 9 FETAC) is highly desirable.
* Minimum 5 years' experience leading EIAR and AA/NIS preparation for large-scale projects.
* Strong understanding of the EIA process and Irish planning policy/legislation.
