DescriptionPeriod of employment: 6 monthsMain FunctionWe are looking for Security Guards, with strong security, military or police experience.Candidates should be ready to work in international crew.QualificationsBasic understanding of the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS)Skills and ability to recognise, understand and deal with potential security threatsFully qualified with a proven record of competence for the positionAn above-average level of fitness and skills in tactful, diplomatic crisis and problem solvingExcellent English language skills, both written and oralRead, understand and comply with the Standing Orders of the Master, the Ship Security Plan(SSP), Security Standard Procedures and other Standard Procedures that impact the securityMAIN RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain security of the ship and the implementation of the SSP and Standard Procedures.Responsible for gangway security & access control.Responsible for security screening of passengers, crew and visitors belongings and personal effects to prevent dangerous and prohibited items being brought onto the vessel.Undertake security patrols of Restricted, Controlled and Vulnerable areasUndertake patrols of passenger areas.Investigates crimes, incidents and safeguarding mattersCompiling statements and reports.Reporting all crimes, incidents and safeguarding matters.Participate in security training, drills and exercises.Job Type: Full-timePay: From €2,300.00 per monthExperience:military/police/army/airport security/customs: 1 year (required)Language:English (required)
