Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer Fit Out and Commercial HVAC (BH-******)

The Role
As a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer, you will install, service and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple project sites, ensuring efficient and safe operation in line with F Gas and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Installation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems in commercial fit out and refurbishment projects
Service, maintenance and repair of split systems, VRV/VRF systems, chilled water units and associated plant
Fault finding and diagnostics on HVAC electrical and mechanical components
Carry out planned preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations and energy efficiency standards
Complete job sheets, service reports and documentation accurately
Advise clients on system performance improvements and energy-efficiency upgrades
Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure coordinated delivery
Maintain tools, company vehicle and work areas to a high standard
Participate in emergency call-outs when required
Qualifications
Fully qualified Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician with completed apprenticeship
Minimum 3 to 4 years post-qualification experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical HVAC systems
Valid F Gas certification (essential)
Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
Full clean Irish driving licence
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional attitude with a strong focus on quality and safety
Good communication skills when dealing with clients and colleagues
