Your New Role
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will be a key member of the site management team, responsible for overseeing engineering activities and ensuring the successful delivery of projects to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:
* Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site using modern instruments and techniques.
* Coordinating subcontractors and site teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to design specifications.
* Monitoring quality control and health & safety compliance across all site operations.
* Reviewing technical drawings and resolving any discrepancies with design teams.
* Supporting the Project Manager with progress reporting, planning, and resource management.
* Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in a site engineering role, ideally with a tier one contractor.
* Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies and site operations.
* Proficiency in setting out and surveying using GPS, Total Station, and AutoCAD.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive approach to safety, quality, and teamwork.
