About the RoleWe are seeking skilledAVI Support Engineersto join theVMware Broadcomteam inCork, Ireland. This role requires hands-on experience with theAvi Vantage Platformand a strong understanding of networking, troubleshooting, and integration with virtualization technologies such asvSphere, ESXi, and NSX.The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams, act as a key liaison between customers and technical teams, and provide deep technical analysis and solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of the Avi Vantage Platform .Act as a point of contact between customers and internal engineering teams.Drive customer requirement discussions, prioritize workloads, and manage communications.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for technical issues and document resolutions.Identify, track, and report product issues; collaborate with engineering for timely fixes.Create and maintain case issue logs and knowledge base articles to enhance support efficiency.Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for at least one Avi deployment or integration (e.g., vSphere, ESXi, NSX).Required Skills & ExperienceStrong understanding of networking layers (L2–L7) and troubleshooting processes.Hands-on experience with vSphere, ESXi, and NSX environments.Excellent communication, time management, and process adherence skills.Solid knowledge of L4–L7 protocols .Understanding of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, JavaScript).Knowledge of networking components — Routing, Switching, Firewalls, TCP/IP, etc.Familiarity with Linux OS (preferred).Experience with REST APIs and/or Python or Java programming (a plus).Why JoinOpportunity to work directly with VMware Broadcom, a global leader in cloud and networking technologies.Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in load balancing and application delivery .Collaborative and high-growth work environment in Cork County, Ireland .Employment Type:Contract (6–12 Months, Full-Time, Onsite)Start Date:Immediate or within notice period
