Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor - Operations Management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage a team of skilled maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient operation of mechanical systems.
2. Conduct regular performance reviews, assess technical proficiency, and ensure compliance with key performance indicators (KPIs) across daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
3. Oversee on-site contractors, ensuring all completed works meet technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations through routine inspections.
4. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for client escalations, leading troubleshooting efforts and coordinating with technicians and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly.
Main Duties:
1. Provide active leadership by supporting technical troubleshooting and problem-solving, collaborating with senior management, identifying and leading projects, managing resources, and maintaining accountability for technical excellence.
2. Perform cost analysis and technical risk assessments for maintenance and project works, balancing client requirements with budget constraints through value management and cost control exercises.
3. Implement energy-saving measures, monitor systems for optimal energy consumption, and recommend modifications to reduce costs across Mechanical systems and building services.
4. Conduct regular site visits to assess equipment and infrastructure, perform evaluations, and compile accurate quotes for preventative maintenance and project work.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Relevant mechanical trade certification.
2. Strong technical facilities management experience, specifically in mechanical systems.
3. Proven ability to communicate technical issues and solutions to clients effectively.
4. Experience developing costs and proposals based on technical assessments, with clear and detailed work scopes.
5. Proficiency in extracting and interpreting data from performance management systems and technical reports to improve service.
6. Experience managing compliance, health, and safety standards in a technical environment.
