A pharmaceutical construction project is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to ensure Environmental Health & Safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
* Maintain accurate statutory inspection records.
* Advise on safety-related topics such as noise levels and machinery use.
* Assist in drafting Method Statements for safe work practices.
* Review and update policies according to legislation.
* Inspect premises and personnel work to identify issues or non-conformity.
* Report incidents and near misses promptly.
* Review subcontractor Safety Statements and Compliance.
* Review Safe Work Plans for adherence to regulations.
* Manage Health & Safety paperwork and documentation.
* Manage PPE for on-site employees.
* Deliver Health & Safety induction programs and toolbox talks.
Requirements:
* Level 7 qualification in Health and Safety or equivalent.
* 1 year experience in an on-site Safety position preferred.
* Construction experience required.
* Chemical waste experience beneficial.
* Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification required.
* Innovative and able to work independently.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
