If you are looking for a company you can learn from, an opportunity to make an impact or an insight into the Inflight Entertainment industry, this role is perfect for you.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Implementation Manager, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:Enable Inflight Entertainment (IFE) systems (Hardware and Software) for our international clients. This includes configuring the user interface passengers will use, and setting up the required entertainment content including movies, TV shows, games and publications.Configure and test the IFE system on our award winning Everhub serverResponsible for administrative tasks such as asset management and tracking, as well as coordinating hardware shipping and receiving.Lead the Quality Assurance testing process for client deliverables as neededAssist with creation of training documents for both clients and internal staff on new software release updatesPrepare manuals and reports for application supportProvide customer support by efficiently resolving tickets submitted through the helpdesk system.Conducting proactive analysis of customer usage data to prevent potential issues and provide recommendations for product enhancements.Other tasks/projects as assigned by Manager.Full hands-on training will be provided for the role.The CandidateOur role focuses on both the people leading and the technical side. The ideal candidate will have the following -Experience in use of IT systems (additional training will be provided as required)Experience working with Linux operating systems.Experience in Quality Assurance an advantageExperience with web technologies and software development an advantage (Github, JSON, JavaScript)Additional experience in networking will be useful.Experience in Inventory Management asset managementExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft office suiteExperience with Atlassian Suite an advantage (JIRA, Confluence)Experience with hardware maintenance an advantageGood understanding of supply chain proceduresConfident communicator, both verbal and writtenAbility to demonstrate ownership, dive deep and deliver resultsAbility to quickly develop (and nurture) relationships with suppliers and clientsLocationRole is based in our Dublin Office.
