Leisure Centre Attendant Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Leisure Centre Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our leisure centre staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers while providing an exceptional experience.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will report to the Leisure Centre Manager and will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the pool area, supervising swimming activities, and responding to emergencies. You will also work closely with the Pool Supervisor to ensure high standards of supervision and safety are maintained at all times.
* Monitor and maintain the pool area, including cleaning and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
* Supervise swimming activities, including children's lessons and adult swim sessions.
* Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
* Work collaboratively with the Pool Supervisor to ensure high standards of supervision and safety are maintained.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* NPLQ or RLSS qualification (or equivalent).
* Previous experience working as a Lifeguard or in a similar role.
* Fluency in English language.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and midweek shifts.
