Job Title: Procurement Manager Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager Assistant to collaborate with the procurement team in sourcing and managing procurement packages.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist in the delivery of complex procurement packages across multiple projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and maintain pricing information.
* Issue purchase orders and monitor order status for prompt deliveries.
* Resolve delivery, quality, or invoicing issues with the procurement manager.
* Support value engineering efforts and cost-saving initiatives.
* Maintain procurement practices that comply with company procedures, legal standards, and quality expectations.
Requirements
* 3+ years' experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination, preferably in civil engineering or construction.
* Relevant qualifications in Procurement, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills for procurement data management.
* Familiarity with procurement processes and documentation.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with procurement software is an advantage.
