We are seeking an accomplished Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services team, covering a vast region.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced OT to work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to young individuals facing mental health challenges.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior Occupational Therapist:
* Conduct occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with complex mental health needs.
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Participate in care planning, goal setting, and family liaison.
* Support service development initiatives within CAMHS.
* Supervise junior staff and contribute to student training where required.
Essential Requirements for the Senior Occupational Therapist:
* CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in mental health or CAMHS desirable.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Full driver's licence and access to a car desirable.
