Eligibility criteria Experience Essential: Minimum three years (within the last 6 years) post graduate experience of nursing Older People. Minimum of three years experience in Management NMBI Registration QQI Level 6 in Leadership/People Management at minimum Post graduate qualification in Gerontology or clinical management Have an in-depth knowledge of the ageing process Maintains Professional development on a continuous basis Essential skills, competencies, attributes and/or knowledge Professional Knowledge Essential: 1.Knowledge of HIQAs National Quality Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People in Ireland, and others as applicable 2.Demonstrate sound knowledge of older people.
