Job Description:
The project has been underway for a number of years, with the completion of the total housing units expected to be early 2025, which will be followed by the construction of 5 apartment blocks at the same location.
In this new role, you will work under the Senior Quantity Surveyor on contractual matters at general and project level, timely drafting of commercial/contractual correspondence and support with project correspondence.
You will assist in preparing monthly valuations, cost reports, variations, and the submission of final reports, as well as carrying out measurements of the building elements along.
You will look for opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce costs, identify and investigate losses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* You will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying and preferably have 1–2 years' experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications is required.
* You will have the ability to use time productively and efficiently to meet challenging project goals.
* Strong communication skills are important as you will be liaising with management and dealing with internal stakeholders and commercial representatives.
* Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential.
