General Responsibilities
Receiving customer phone calls and directing calls to the appropriate department
Responding to customer queries and providing customer support
Providing certificates, invoices and documents on request
Assisting customers with sample submission and testing queries
Chasing and taking payments, issuing receipts and releasing testing certificates
Dispatching/posting testing kits and consumables
Handling courier arrivals and dispatches and accepting samples into the depot
Tracking submissions against payment history
Assisting with general reception duties
Ad-hoc duties as required
Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Excellent PC literacy (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Professional phone manner and strong customer service skills
Willingness to learn and strong organisational skills
Full driver's licence and analytical, logical approach with a keen eye for detail
Ability to thrive under pressure and work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Interest/background in science is an advantage but not essential
Knowledge of LIMS and SAGE Accounts is an advantage but not essential
