We are hiring on behalf of our client for a creative and skilled Pastry Chef to join a leading hospitality venue in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to showcase their pastry expertise and contribute to a high-quality culinary offering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods.
* Assist with the development and creation of new dessert menus and seasonal offerings.
* Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and hygiene at all times.
* Manage pastry section inventory, stock rotation, and ordering of supplies.
* Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain smooth operations.
* Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene standards (HACCP).
* Train and guide junior pastry staff where required.
* Maintain a clean and organised pastry section at all times.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar pastry role within a professional kitchen.
* Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert preparation.
* High attention to detail and creativity in food presentation.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Fluent English (spoken and written).
* Full eligibility to work in Ireland (valid work permit, if required).
