About the Role
Our client, an established accountancy practice in Dublin 12, is seeking a motivated Practice Accountant to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role where you'll work directly with partners and clients across a wide range of industries. You'll prepare accounts, manage tax compliance, and gain valuable exposure to audit and financial reporting within a professional, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare statutory financial statements for companies, sole traders, and partnerships in line with FRS102 and FRS105.
* Assist in audit planning, fieldwork, and completion for a range of Small company audits and audit exempt files.
* Prepare and submit corporation tax, income tax returns through ROS.
* Handle CRO filings and ensure all statutory deadlines are met.
* Liaise with clients and Revenue on compliance and reporting matters.
* Support partners on advisory and compliance projects as required.
* Maintain accurate working papers and ensure high-quality output across all assignments.
Skills & Experience Required
* Part-qualified or qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA /CPA).
* 2–5+ years' practice experience in an Irish accountancy firm.
* Strong understanding of Irish GAAP (FRS 102/105) and tax compliance.
* Audit exposure desirable – experience with audit testing and file preparation.
* Competent in accounting software such as Sage One, Sage 50, Bright Accounts Production, Bright Manager and My Workpapers.
* Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently.

Pay: €55,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
