Teaching and Academic Role
Munster Technological University is seeking an academic professional to play a key role in the teaching, research, and academic administration of courses in mental health nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching, research, and academic administration to support student learning and development
* Supervise postgraduate students in their academic pursuits
* Promote and implement academic quality assurance arrangements to drive excellence in teaching and research
* Contribute to course development and enhancement initiatives
The appointee will require attendance during the normal working week, including class contact hours. Opportunities for career progression to lecturer are available after one year's service, subject to performance and experience.
Requirements:
* Holding a primary degree at second class or higher level
* Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
* Demonstrable relevant postgraduate experience in a similar field
* Proficiency in digital literacy and skills in simulated learning environments
