Key Responsibilities Working with a team of digital manufacturing/automation engineers managing and delivering projects to customer sites. Design and coding of industrial process automation solutions on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Production of I/O schedules Preparation of Functional Design specifications Design and configuration of user interface systems for industrial control (HMI/SCADA) Design of control panels and creation of panel wiring schematics Commissioning of control systems in the field: I/O and instrumentation testing, full testing and commissioning of automation systems Fault finding of control systems (PLC, HMI/SCADA, Communication Networks etc.) Providing design and approval for hardware, software, and controls for automated systems. Working closely with customers to identify areas for improvement through the use of automation and data analytics technology. Providing technical and automation operational support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation and Facilities departments. Mentoring and training of graduate/junior engineers. Experience & Skills Required Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Computer Science / Information Systems or related field. 3+ years automation engineering experience. PLC Programming Experience: Siemens/ Rockwell HMI / SCADA Experience: Siemens / Rockwell/ AVEVA / Schneider. Knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring.
