M&A Security - Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer
We are looking to grow the M&A Security program. The Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer will provide security expertise in due diligence, integration and post-integration efforts, working directly with M&A targets and acquired companies. We need someone with advanced skills across a number of technologies & security domains to drive security integration.
Responsibilities
* Critically assess system architecture and suggest improvements & controls
* Guide security architecture decisions for acquired teams
* Embed secure-by-design and secure-by-default into technologies including supporting threat modeling activities for acquired companies
* Foster a positive security attitude and integration experience
About You
Basic Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in Cyber Security Engineering, Software Engineering, or Public Cloud Platform Engineering
* Experience with public cloud technologies, automation and cloud-native applications; GCP and/or AWS preferred
* Deep understanding of security concepts/methods/protocols in areas such as authentication, authorization, RBAC, encryption and penetration testing
Other Qualifications
* Experience working with M&A integration teams and acquired companies
* Ability to progress programs of work across various internal teams
* Practical knowledge of enterprise application software development and developer workflows with skills in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C++, C#, Scala, Go, Rust, Python)
* Excellent verbal & written communications skills
* Experience in developing, deploying, and supporting security-specific solutions including the automation of repeatable security tasks and controls
