Job Overview
As a Mechanical Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and assessing the daily workload on large-scale residential and apartment projects in Dublin.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring compliance with specifications through regular inspections of mechanical works
* Liaising with QS/Contract Managers to discuss site performance, progress, records, issues, correspondence, and applications
* Monitoring progress, handover records, history of subcontractor changes, and issues
* Resolving on-site mechanical technical queries with the production team
* Attending collaborative planning meetings and coordinating trade interfaces and working sequences
* Coordinating relevant mechanical trades, organising direct and subcontract labour, supervising direct and subcontractors, and organising materials procurement schedules/call offs
You will also produce weekly progress reports and attend weekly site meetings. Requirements include:
* A minimum of three years' experience managing sites
* An industry-relevant City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or above qualification
* The ability to influence and drive positive attitudes and behaviors regarding site Health and Safety
* A mechanical engineering/plumbing background, IT skills including Microsoft Office, and experience supervising staff and third parties
* A good understanding of building services including design principles, method statements, inspection test plans, risk assessments, commissioning, and handover requirements
This is a challenging role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the production team and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.
