About the Role
As Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee the smooth daily operations of a busy warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate handling of stock, efficient deliveries, and a clean, safe, and organised environment.
Leading a small team, you will use your communication, planning, and leadership skills to maintain high standards of service and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Planning
Plan and manage daily workflows, truck loading/unloading, and delivery schedules
Oversee goods-in processes including unloading, put-away, and inter-branch transfers
Coordinate container deliveries and ensure timely unloading
Organise stock control, cycle counts, and annual stocktake
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and motivate a small warehouse team
Delegate tasks effectively and manage rotas to maintain coverage
Conduct performance reviews, mentoring, and team development
Promote a positive, collaborative, and productive working culture
Compliance & Systems
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment
Drive continuous improvement in warehouse systems and stock control
Liaise with internal departments and external logistics partners
Problem Solving & Conflict Resolution
Address operational or staffing issues promptly and professionally
Foster a fair, respectful, and inclusive workplace
Requirements
Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management
Strong leadership, planning, and organisational abilities
Confident communication and interpersonal skills
Sound knowledge of warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
Understanding of health & safety compliance
Forklift licence essential
