Theatre Anaesthetic Recovery Nurse
Work in a dynamic clinical environment where you will be responsible for assisting in a wide range of specialties, including orthopaedic, general, ophthalmology, gynae, ENT, pain management, urology, and vascular.
* Develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relating to the clinical area and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
Clinical Expertise
* Ensure the delivery of the highest possible standard of care to all patients.
* Support and guide colleagues when needed.
Quality Improvement
* Participate in clinical audit and research activity within the field.
* Undertake research or clinical audit as necessary.
Health and Safety Protocols
* Uphold health and safety protocols at all times, adhering to relevant regulations and procedures.
* Identify potential risks for all staff, patients, and visitors and report incidents accordingly.
Required qualifications and experience:
* Be a Registered Nurse in the general division of the Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* BASIC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING AND A THEATRE QUALIFICATION ARE DESIRABLE.
