Emydex Technology is a leading supplier of factory floor MES software solutions to meat, fish and food processors around the globe.
Our company market offices in Dublin, Canada, Australia and New Zealand support our customers located in over 20 countries worldwide.
We are looking for a
HR Administrator
to join our team on a
13-month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Leave Cover)
, starting
January ****.
This Dublin-based hybrid role is a standalone position supporting HR operations across Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
Responsibilities include assisting with HR processes and preparing monthly payroll files for review and final approval.
The role requires flexibility to attend occasional late evening or early morning calls to connect with colleagues in different time zones.
Time off in lieu will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day HR administration across Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
Prepare monthly payroll files for all markets and liaise with payroll providers to ensure accuracy before final approval.
Administer employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, issuing contracts, and managing benefits.
Maintain up-to-date HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation in all operating regions.
Coordinate the Biannual Review process in June and December each year, ensuring timely communication and accurate documentation.
Monitor and track absence, turnover and performance data, highlighting trends and issues to management.
Support performance management, employee engagement, and culture initiatives through effective coordination and administration.
Maintain and update HR systems and processes; experience with Personio HRIS is an advantage.
Act as the main point of contact for HR queries from managers and employees across multiple time zones, providing advice and escalating issues where necessary.
Attend occasional late evening or early morning calls with overseas colleagues (time off in lieu provided).
Skills Required:
HR Knowledge:
At least 2–3 years' experience in an HR support or administrator role, with a good understanding of HR processes.
Payroll & Compliance:
Experience assisting with payroll preparation and a working knowledge of Irish employment law (exposure to other regions an advantage).
Attention to Detail:
Strong ability to maintain accurate records, track data, and flag potential issues related to absence, turnover, or performance.
Interpersonal Skills:
Clear and professional communicator who can provide support to employees and managers and build positive working relationships.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Experience managing recruitment administration, conducting first-round interviews, preparing contracts, and coordinating onboarding to support employee retention.
