About the Role Administration & Training Co-Ordinator Reports to: Orchard Fostering Principal Social Worker Location: Dublin- Registered Company Office Purpose of post: The main purpose of this role is to co-ordinate the delivery of an efficient administrative support function to Orchard Fostering.
The role also includes co-ordination of the administration team and the services they provide and the planning, organising and monitoring of all training activities for foster carers and staff.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining high standards of compliance, support best practice and contribute to the delivery of excellent outcomes for children and young people.
This multifaceted role is essential in supporting the overall mission of Orchard Fostering.
Main Duties Maintaining employee records and HR files, preparing HR documentation, Garda Vetting and supporting the onboarding and induction of new staff.
Maintaining the HR information system and ensuring full compliance of all HR files.
Communicating Health & Safety procedures to all staff and ensuring compliance with standards, including fire safety and equipment maintenance.
Managing, supervising, and supporting the administration team to help them reach their full potential.
Ensuring all data is saved, stored, and compliant with regulations, national standards, GDPR and company policies.
Managing team rotas and requesting cover as needed.
Assisting in event management on behalf of the Orchard Fostering team.
Leading the planning, scheduling, and coordination of training and relevant learning to ensure all staff training records are in line HIQA standards and TUSLA.
Attention to detail in monitoring, auditing, reporting and completing data quality control checks to ensure accurate and up to date Staffing and training records.
Ensuring the office operates at a high standard and liaising with all relevant parties to maintain this.
Essential Requirements: A minimum of level 7 relevant qualification preferably in Business Management, Human Resources, Business Administration.
At least three years' experience in a similar role, preferably working in the care sector.
