Trading Analyst
Our client, one of Ireland's leading convenience roadside retailers is looking for a Trading Analyst to join their vibrant team. The successful candidate will be a confident people person who can adopt a hands-on approach. Citywest based.

Responsibilities of this Trading Analyst:
6. Overseeing the timely production and preparation of weekly reports.
7. Facilitating the forecast and distribution of products to our retail outlets, optimizing stock allocation.
8. Collaborating with the Trading team to fulfil analytical needs.
9. Cultivating and sustaining robust partnerships both internally and externally.
10. Conducting data-driven analyses on trading activities and pricing tactics.
11. Initiating process improvements and operational efficiencies.
12. Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to ensure competitiveness.
13. Contributing to strategic plans at product and category levels.
Experience required for this Trading Analyst:
14. Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
16. Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.
17. Familiarity with Power BI or equivalent tools is advantageous.
18. SAP experience is beneficial.
19. Prior exposure to convenience FMCG retail is a plus.
20. Demonstrated ability to forge strong internal relationships.
21. Enthusiastic and driven with a penchant for achievement.
22. Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for relationship-building.
