About Your New Job
* Manage a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate clients.
* Monitor portfolio performance metrics, including billing, collections, and work-in-progress.
* Prepare and review tax returns for a varied client base.
* Handle advisory projects across all tax areas, including corporate tax, income tax, capital gains tax, capital acquisitions tax, and VAT.
* Develop and maintain client relationships, providing timely and efficient tax advice.
* Collaborate closely with the Tax Director and Partners on tax projects.
* Research tax technical issues.
* Work alongside colleagues across the firm.
* Mentor, coach, and evaluate staff, promoting a positive and growth-oriented team culture.
What Skills You Need
* Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification is essential; an Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is desirable.
* At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a practice environment.
* Minimum of 12 months' experience in a management role.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and organizational skills.
* A proactive team player committed to ongoing professional development.
* Proficiency in various taxation software and Microsoft Office.
