Chief DataOfficer – Financial Services
A marketing leadingfinancial services firm are looking to a Chief Data Officer to lead the EnterpriseData Function. The successful candidate will be responsible for evolving the firm'sdata strategy and maximizing the value of their data assets to drive profitabilityand efficiency across the organization. The role will report the COO and the successfulcandidate will need to have an excellent understanding of data regulation, protectionand governance.
Role responsibilitieswill include but not limited to:Designing andimplementing the firm's data strategy and creating value from their data assetsEstablishingbest practice data governance policies, procedures and processes around thesecurity of the firms dataContinuousimprovement of data protection capabilities and monitoring of data protectionlaws and regulation to make sure the organisation is compliant at all timesAssist theOperational Excellence function to drive continuous improvement within ouroperating model using data analyticsLead thedesign and delivery of an enterprise -grade technology infrastructure for datathat meets the organisation's current needs and supports future revisions ofour data strategyWork withour Marketing Client and Data Insights Team to better understand the needs ofour clients, deploying analytics techniques (e.g. propensity modelling) todeliver increasingly personalised services
RequirementsThe Person:Previousexperience in a similar role driving technological change within a financialservices organizationExperienceimplementing data analytics initiatives to drive enhanced client outcomes,improve employee experience/processes, and identify business growth opportunities8 + yearsof experience in senior data roles with exposure to GDPR compliance and regulatoryprojectsDeepunderstanding of data governance and protection from regulatory,organisational, and technology perspectivesStrongcommercial acumen and must have the ability to apply data insights to drive growthand efficiency within the businessExcellentstakeholder management skills and be able to effectively communicate and workwith different areas of the business
