Its principal activities include the distribution and supply of laboratory and analytical instruments.
Role
The position is a full-time permanent contract and is based in Munster, with a requirement to travel countrywide when necessary.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and calibration of electro-mechanical instrumentation products and modules in a laboratory or manufacturing setting to maintain functionality and accuracy, including but not limited to:
PM, Calibration and certification to ISO***** or ISO**** of Temperature Control Units such as Fridges/Freezers, Ovens, Incubators, Warehouses/Cold-rooms
PM, Calibration and certification to ISO***** or ISO**** of piston operated volume units e.g. pipettes, dispensers and burettes
PM, Calibration and certification to ISO***** or ISO**** of temperature probes including PT100, PT****, T Type, K Type, Thermistors
PM, Calibration and certification to ISO***** or ISO**** of a wide range of Weighing Equipment such as Analytical/Semi-Micro Balances, Ultra-Micro/Micro Balances, Top Pan Balances, Pit Scales
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required
A recognised course completed in electrical, instrumentation or mechanical engineering.
Previous experience in a similar technical role is essential.
Experience of working within Quality systems such as ISO, INAB, etc.
Experience of working within Regulatory systems such as FDA, EUP, UKP, IMB, etc.
Ability to fault-find and repair laboratory equipment.
A good knowledge of related industry products and tools.
Full clean driving licence is essential.
