A suitable candidate will be responsible for:
* receiving deliveries and checking their content and hygiene
* stocking, replenishing and cleaning sales areas;
* assisting customers with product selection;
* processing payments of various kinds;
* offering advice to customers;
* dealing with customer complaints;
* utilizing specialist product knowledge;
* monitoring and updating sales display areas.
* using stock FIFO rule
* preparing product displays and restocking them as required
* serving customers at the counter (including Deli counter)
* attending staff meetings;
* helping other staff members, as and when required.
* Ensuring that Work Area/Staff Changing Facilities/Staff Canteen are maintained in clean condition in accordance to HACCP requirements
Job Types: This is a full-time position, 40-45 hours per week. Applicants must be fully flexible over 7 days.You will be required to work 5 days a week and be available Monday to Sunday
Previous sales experience would be a benefit.
