QA Manager (Electricial) – Data Centre
Role Overview
The QA Manager (Electrical) will be responsible for leading all quality assurance and quality control activities on live data centre projects in Europe.
Working as part of the site-based project team, the role will ensure that all installations and commissioning activities are delivered in accordance with project specifications, regulatory requirements and company standards.
The role will also support system readiness and handover through structured QA and commissioning processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead QA/QC activities across the full project lifecycle, from installation through to commissioning and handover
Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, technical submittals and applicable regulations
Develop and implement project-specific Quality Plans and Commissioning Plans
Carry out inspections, audits and reviews of installation works, ensuring compliance with company procedures
Coordinate factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT) and system walkdowns
Manage and maintain punch lists, ensuring timely close-out of all quality-related items
Ensure all QA documentation is complete, accurate and available for audit and handover (O&M manuals, certification, records)
Work closely with project and commissioning teams to identify and resolve quality issues at an early stage
Support the planning and execution of commissioning activities in line with project programme requirements
Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on quality-related matters
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA/QC systems, procedures and standards
Qualifications
Electrical background (degree or trade with relevant progression)
Experience working within an M&E contracting environment
Experience on data centre, industrial or large-scale building services projects
Proven experience in QA/QC and commissioning support on live construction projects
Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g. ISO ****)
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within a structured, programme-driven environment
Strong attention to detail and documentation control
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with site teams and stakeholders
