Our client is seeking a senior compliance professional to support the growth and governance of a regulated financial services business based in Dublin. This role reports to the Head of Compliance and plays a central part in shaping compliance strategy, strengthening regulatory standards, and supporting business resilience.The ideal candidate brings a growth mindset, emotional intelligence, and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and have a strong influence on decision-making across the organisation.This position is classified as a Controlled Function under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity Regime.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head of Compliance with the development and ongoing improvement of a risk-based compliance monitoring program.Provide guidance on new regulations and emerging business initiatives, identifying and managing compliance risk.Prepare clear and concise reports for senior management, board committees, and regulatory authorities.Deliver training across a range of compliance topics including Data Protection, Financial Crime Prevention, and Corporate Governance.Develop and maintain compliance policies and ensure they are communicated effectively across the business.Prepare regulatory information packs and support inspections and regulatory queries.Promote a strong compliance culture and provide mentorship to junior colleagues.Use technology and data analytics to enhance oversight and support informed decision-making.Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive greater efficiency.Experience and Skills RequiredAt least five years of experience in a second-line compliance role within financial services. Experience in insurance or reinsurance is an advantage.Strong understanding of Irish and EU regulatory frameworks including Solvency II, Insurance Distribution, Fitness and Probity, and GDPR.
