Job description: We are currently recruiting for a full-time position of a Childcare Practitioner here at Home From Home Childcare in Ratoath, County Meath. Home From Home Childcare has been operating for over 22 years. We are looking for a dedicated, energetic & motivated person who is committed to providing an excellent standard of care and education to the children in our service. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum FETAC Level 5 in Childcare qualification or equivalent Experience in childcare is desirable, but not necessary. First Aid, Manual Handling, Tusla Children First, an advantage. Excellent organisational & communication skills. Ability to work well within a team. Sincere and genuine love of children. Candidates must provide 2 x written references and copy of qualification certificates at time of interview. Candidate details will be submitted for Garda Vetting. Police clearance required if candidate has lived outside of the jurisdiction for a period of 3 months or more. Role Description: Day to day childcare tasks will be outlined in more detail upon application. To ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment for the care, safety and welfare of the children. Actively engage the children in developmentally appropriate learning activities to facilitate the development of each child. Promote and help maintain an organised, clean, safe & well-equipped learning environment. Observe and record childrens progress. To communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff alike.
