About the Job
Reporting directly to SLT the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the management of all supply chain and procurement activities across the site. You will lead and manage the function ensuring the successful delivery of customer requirements ensuring effective running of the business in line with company goals.
Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:
• Managing team to ensure supply chain practices are maintained in accordance with new or
changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
• Ensuring colleagues working within these areas are trained to conform to company, cGMP,
SOPs, Specifications, and Regulatory requirements.
• Overall management of the Supply Chain and procurement Team to ensure all related team
deliverables are met on-time and on budget, including:
* Commercial delivery
* Cost Centre budgets
* Inventory management
* Team development.
• Overall management of the Supply Chain Team to ensure there is an inherent drive for
continuous improvement is all areas including:
* Material and operating costs.
* Supplier performance.
* Forecasting: Demand and Supplier.
* Change management.
* In-sourcing.
* Procedural improvements.
• Delivery of Key Strategic Projects that link into Eirgen's long-term strategy plan.
• Providing Cross functional management support on all related management project
deliverables, including:
Management
* Work as part of the extended leadership team in the effective running of the
* business, developing and implementing the company's strategic plans
* Prepare and oversee Department budget including timelines, resource demands and allocations
* Maintain Department performance metrics
* Provide leadership, drive and deliver on strategy
* Effectively manage the Department including performance management, coaching,
* mentoring to higher levels of capability
* Working with all members of team to maintain and develop the positive progressive
* culture within Eirgen.
About you
You have a third level education in Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or 10+ years of
experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
You will be proficient in SAP ERP System and possess an in-depth knowledge of good business
practices. You will hold key skills such as, the ability to influence others, foster creative teamwork and diversity, problem solving and decision making.
