AMS Diagnostics based in Cork City is launching its new Ultrasound service in early January ****.
This is a new service & will complement its existing suite of other diagnostic services it provides to referring GP's and their patients within the Cork & Munster region.
We are seeking a part-time CORU-registered Radiographer with ultrasound experience to join our team on a part-time basis.
It is envisaged that this will require 1 day per week initially and then grow overtime.
You will work as a Clinical Specialist Radiographer in Ultrasound, performing a wide range of scans (abdominal, pelvis, small parts & carotid doppler)
Key responsibilities:
Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations independently.
Provide clear, accurate measurements for the Consultant Radiologist.
Ensure excellent patient care and communication throughout the patient pathway.
Contribute to continuous improvement, audit, and CPD activities as required.
Key Requirements:
CORU registration (essential).
Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent).
At least 1–2 years' experience as a practicing Sonographer / Ultrasound Radiographer.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
