Automation Solutions Developer
Role Description
As an Automation Solutions Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems across manufacturing equipment and processes. Key to this role is the ability to develop high-quality automation solutions that ensure efficiency and productivity while adhering to regulatory standards such as FDA, ISO 13485, and Gx P.
* Design and program control systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) for automated equipment.
* Support installation, validation, and commissioning of new automated systems ensuring they meet performance requirements.
* Develop HMI/SCADA systems for operator-friendly interfaces with an emphasis on usability and maintainability.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations in all automation activities through process documentation and audit trail management.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to improve system reliability and efficiency.
* Conduct root cause analysis to resolve automation-related issues promptly, minimizing downtime.
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies for control systems to optimize performance.
* Document software, configuration changes, and validation protocols according to regulatory requirements.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, Six Sigma, and Industry 4.0 projects leveraging automation solutions to drive business value.
* Provide training to technicians and operators on equipment functionality and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Qualifications:
