Overview
The Heritage offers a sophisticated elegance with impeccable hospitality set in wonderful un-spoilt Laois countryside. It comprises of a luxury world class Hotel and European Award Winning Spa. The Heritage also offers guests a number of on site activities such as our Health Club with Leisure Pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam rooms, 5km Walking Track and Cinema. We are currently looking to hire a Night Porter to join our existing Front Office team.
Responsibilities
* To assist with efficient check in / out of guests
* To run hotel night audits as required
* To ensure start / end of shift reports are completed
* To ensure that a lobby presence is maintained at all times
* To assist guests with any requests they might have
* To ensure building is fully secure
* To carry out fire walks in accordance with night operation and guest safety in mind
* To control the switchboard
* To ensure that all night porter duties are carried out efficiently
* Carry out wake up calls when required
* Organise taxi's / drive hotel vehicle for transporting guests
* To carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by management
Requirements
* Must have previous experience within the hotel environment
* Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
* Must be flexible regarding working hours & Eligible to work night shifts
* Full clean driving license is required
* Strong IT skills
