Associate - Health & Social Care Law

BCL Legal are working with a prestigious Irish law firm that is looking to appoint an ambitious Associate to their award‑winning Health Services team. This firm is widely regarded as a market leader in healthcare law, boasting one of the most established and specialised practices in the country.

The Role
Handle complex files from inception to completion, including strategy development and drafting detailed pleadings and legal correspondence.
Represent clients in the District Court on a daily basis and attend various hearings and negotiations.
Provide expert guidance to public bodies on legislative interpretation and their statutory responsibilities.
Review intricate medical, social work, and professional records to assess the merits of a case.
Requirements
Qualified Solicitor in Ireland.
At least 1 year of PQE in a relevant practice area, with a demonstrable interest in healthcare or child protection law.
Proven experience in a courtroom setting, with the ability to present cases calmly and logically.
Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills are essential, alongside a meticulous eye for detail.
