This role is ideal for a motivated chef with strong experience in high-quality dining who wants to take the next step in their career, supporting the Head Chef in delivering an exceptional food offering.
Responsibilities Support the Head Chef in the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Assist with menu planning and seasonal dish development.
Supervise and train junior chefs, ensuring consistent standards across all sections.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to the highest level.
Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
Maintain excellent standards of hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP compliance.
Ensure service is efficient, professional, and aligned with the venues high reputation.
Requirements Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a quality kitchen.
Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage a team under pressure.
Creative flair with a passion for seasonal, fresh produce.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the wider team.
Knowledge of HACCP and strong understanding of kitchen safety procedures.
