**Job Title:** Assistant Director of Nursing
The National Orthopaedic Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Nursing. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary commensurate with the Department of Health guidelines.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' post-registration experience in the acute hospital setting within the last 10 years, with a minimum of 4 years' management experience at CNM II or higher.
They will also hold a healthcare or postgraduate qualification level 8/9 in a healthcare or management-related area and have the clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development and be willing to undertake further education and training as required.
The Assistant Director of Nursing will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the nursing staff, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring that the highest standards of patient care are maintained.
