An Post are looking for an enthusiastic Social Media and Content Executive to join our social media team. Were looking for a digitally savvy, self-motivated professional who is passionate about all things social media. Social Media is a key channel for building An Posts digital brand presence and a key communication channel to amplify and demonstrate our brand purpose in a customer lead and cost effective manner. Reporting directly to An Posts Social Media Manager, you will act as the An Post Social Media champion within the organisation and will be responsible for the day to day management of social media across the An Post Social Media Channel Portfolio working across the business, with a focus on social first content capture & editing to deliver content for publishing across the An Post Channel portfolio. Responsibilities: Support the Social Media Manager in the delivery of Social Media Strategy for An Post by leading out on the day to day management and creation of social first content for the Social Media Channel Portfolio including; Support Social Media Manager in the planning, coordination and implementation of brand and sponsorship social media campaigns. Capture and edit social media content in editing software as well as in social media platform. Capture and edit social media content in editing software as well as in social media platform. Monitor social platforms and trends in order to advise and consult on tactics and campaigns. Manage organic and paid social posts for Brand and sponsorship campaigns, engaging with customers when required. Coordinate and manage Social Content Calendar for An Post. Manage the weekly Social Media BAU calendar forum to drive communications strategy agenda and to ensure best in class social posting strategies and content are in place to support the various Marketing teams spanning Retail, Mails & Parcels as well as Digital & PR Teams. Monitor, track and report on digital and social performance for both brand and sponsorship activities, driving campaign, content and channel insights to improve performance. Compile Social Media Monthly report, communicating insights and actions in which the business can apply to their product / proposition. Build, Influence and maintain key stakeholder relationships across the An Post group to ensure key Social Media deliverables are met & influence Social activity within marketing & PR campaigns and social developments. Actively demonstrate and champion An Post's values and behaviours. Knowledge, experience and skills: Ability to capture and edit content, specifically video, for and on social media platforms. You must have experience with content editing software, understanding specs and trends on each social media platform. You will have experience as a community manager or similar role and at least 3 years experience in a customer facing or digital marketing role. You will also have experience planning and leading social media community and campaign initiatives. You will have the ability to identify and track relevant social media metrics and the ability to interpret social media insights and a good knowledge of online marketing. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and presentations skills are required. You will be a critical-thinker and problem-solver who can demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines. You must have a BSc degree (level 8) in Marketing or relevant field. Additional requirements: Experience with social media advertising platforms. Experience with Social Media Management tools. Experience with Photoshop & Illustrator.
