Necto Search and Selection is currently partnering with a renowned Tier 1 Civil Engineering & Construction company to recruit a high-calibre Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major new project in North Dublin.Skills, Experience, Qualifications, If you have the right match for this opportunity, then make sure to apply today.This is a flagship €100m+ civil engineering project, offering a unique opportunity for an experienced QS to take on a key role from the pre-construction phase through to completion.The Role: You will be a senior member of the commercial team, responsible for driving the financial success of the project.Your key duties will include: Managing all cost management, from initial budgets to final account.Preparing tender and contract documents.Conducting valuations, cost reporting, and forecasting.Negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.Ensuring robust cost control and reporting to the Commercial Manager.Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.The Candidate: To be successful, you will be a commercially astute and ambitious Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record on large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects.Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.Minimum of 6+ years' post-qualification experience, with a strong background in civil engineering.
