My client, an established medium sized accountancy practice based in North Dublin is actively seeking a motivatedTax Accountantto join their growing team.This is a newly created role, working directly alongside the Tax Director. It will offer strong mentoring and hands on exposure across a wide range of tax work. The position is expected to evolve significantly as the department grows, offering excellent long term career development opportunities.Duties will include:Prepare and file accurate and timely Income Tax ReturnsHandle the preparation of CGT and CAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulationsComplete Corporation Tax returns with strong attention to detailAssist with VAT returns and support the smooth running of the tax departmentResearch technical tax issues for directors and respond to ad hoc tax queries from audit, accounts staff, and clientsKnowledge, Skills, and Experience:ACCA, ACA qualified coupled with 1-2 years' experience in a tax focused role within practiceCTA qualified or interested in working towards.Proficiency with Tax Pro and ROSStrong knowledge of VAT legislation is an advantageExcellent communication skills and ability to build strong client relationshipAdditional Details:Full-time, office-based roleStandard working hours: 09:00AM - 17:30PMFlexibility available to support work-life balancePension after 6 monthsGenuinely warm, friendly and supportive environment.Free onsite parking and accessible via Dart lineSalary 55K - 65K DOE
