Job Overview
The Technology Sr. Manager, EMEA Commercial (IT) plays a critical leadership role in enabling commercial growth and operational excellence across the EMEA region. This role partners closely with regional commercial leaders to translate business strategy into scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions. The position offers high visibility, regional impact, and the opportunity to shape the future commercial IT landscape for DePuy Synthes during a period of significant transformation and growth. Reports into the DePuy Synthes Technology organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the EMEA Commercial IT strategy, ensuring alignment with regional business objectives and global IT standards.
Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Finance leaders to deliver technology solutions that enable revenue growth and customer engagement.
Oversee delivery and optimization of commercial platforms (e.g., CRM, analytics, pricing, trade, and customer engagement solutions).
Manage a portfolio of IT projects and programs, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and measurable business value.
Lead and develop internal teams and external partners, fostering a high‑performance, inclusive culture.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements across all commercial IT solutions.
Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and simplification of commercial processes through technology.
Act as a key regional stakeholder in global IT governance, roadmap planning, and vendor management.
Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree or MBA.
Required Experience and Skills
8-10 years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles supporting commercial or customer‑facing functions.
Demonstrated experience delivering large‑scale IT solutions in a regional or global environment.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior business leaders.
Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
Solid understanding of data, analytics, and digital technologies supporting commercial excellence.
Experience operating in regulated environments with strong compliance and security requirements.
Preferred
Experience supporting MedTech, healthcare, or life sciences commercial organizations.
Exposure to EMEA regional business models and market dynamics.
Experience leading transformation or separation initiatives.
Familiarity with agile delivery methods and modern product‑centric IT operating models.
Other
Language: Fluency in English required; additional European languages preferred.
Travel: Up to 20–30% regional travel across EMEA.
Certifications: IT leadership, cloud, or project management certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Agile) preferred.

Anticipated Base Pay Range: €85,000.00 - €146,050.00.
