A well-known developer is seeking an experienced
Senior Engineer
to join its Galway team on a two-year fixed-term contract, for a large scale housing project.
Key Responsibilities
* Review design drawings, manage RFIs, and participate in Design Team Meetings.
* Communicate approved technical submittals and ensure understanding across site teams.
* Monitor programme delivery, report progress, and intervene to avoid delays.
* Coordinate subcontractors and service providers, ensuring quality, testing, and commissioning targets are met.
* Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, design documents, and relevant standards.
* Conduct continuous site inspections, resolving issues promptly.
* Coordinate site drawings and maintain accurate quality and site records.
* Manage relationships with third-party stakeholders (e.g., utilities and local authorities).
* Drive value engineering.
* Chair site meetings and promote a best-in-class customer and stakeholder experience.
Candidate Profile
* Minimum
5 years' experience
in a similar engineering role.
* Level 8 Engineering qualification
(HETAC or equivalent).
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and take ownership of assigned
